The guild’s President, Arnold Baker has been actively involved in the public and charitable sectors in England for over 40 years and he has a particular involvement in the works of the Orders of St.John and St.Lazarus where, through his long term membership, he has made a regular contribution towards their humanitarian efforts in many of the poorer nations of the world.

He has served as a Governor of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, the top performing hospital trust in England, which delivers healthcare to patients via 10 leading hospitals.

Our President has a great understanding of the cares and concerns of nurses and carers via his own contact with members of these professions over a good many years and this is why he retains a very hands-on approach towards the day to day management of the guild and this is why he greatly welcomes all correspondence from any member or prospective member.

Our President is particularly interested in hearing form any member or potential member who would be prepared to volunteer to help the guild in any way to set up a network within their County, State or District.
